UDISE Plus (UDISE+) User Guide
All Modules
All Modules Login Process :-
- Go to the official UDISE Plus portal or Click on above all Module tab.
- Click on the “Login for All Modules” link available on right side corner of the homepage.
- Select your State name from the dropdown list.
- Click Submit to proceed Button. Now you can see UDISE Plus all modules.
- Choose the specific module you want to access (for example School Profile Module, Teacher Module).
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Enter the Captcha code displayed on the screen.
- Click Login to open your module dashboard.
- Use the dashboard to view, update, or manage the required data as per your role.
- Log out after finishing for security.
UDISE Plus School Profile Module
UDISE Plus School Profile Login Process :-
- Go to the official UDISE Plus School Profile Module
- Enter, “UDISE CODE of the school is the Username. Password provided by the Block MIS coordinator.
- Enter the Captcha code shown on the screen.
- Click on the Login button to access the School Profile dashboard.
- Once logged in, view, edit, and submit school details as required.
- Log out after completing the work for security reason.
UDISE Plus Teacher Module
Through the Teacher Module, teachers can register themselves, maintain their complete service records, update information related to their qualifications, postings, and promotions, and even request corrections in case of errors. It ensures that teacher data across the country remains consistent, easily accessible, and up to date.
UDISE Plus Teacher Module Login Process :-
- Go to the official UDISE Plus Teacher Module
- Enter your Username (provided by school or education department).
- Enter your Password.
- Enter the Captcha code displayed on the screen.
- Click on the Login button to access your dashboard.
- If you forgot your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link and follow the instructions.
- Once logged in, You can use the dashboard to view or update your teacher profile and service details.
- Log out after you finish Updation.
UDISE Plus Student Module
UDISE Plus Student Module is a part of the Student Database Management System (SDMS) that helps schools to manage student information in one place. Schools can update the details like student profiles, enrollment, class progress, and dropout status through this online system. It also tracks facilities such as mid-day meals, textbooks, and scholarships.
Sections of the Student Module
The Student Module allows updates in three main categories:
- GP (General Profile) – Name, date of birth, gender, Aadhaar, etc.
- EP (Enrollment Profile) – Admission number, class, promotion status
- SF (Student Facilities) – Mid-day meal, books, uniforms, etc.
UDISE Plus Student Module Login Process :-
- Go to the UDISE Plus Student Module
- Select state and click Go to proceed.
- Click on “User Login”
- Enter your User ID and Password provided by the Block or District Education Officer
- Complete CAPTCHA and click Sign In
How to Update Student Data (GP, EP, SF)
Follow these steps to update student details:
- Login to https://sdms.udiseplus.gov.in
- Navigate to the Student Module
- Select the student you want to update
- Click on GP, EP, or SF section
- Enter the updated information
- Click Save, then Submit
How to Add Class 1 Students in UDISE Plus
At the starting of the academic year, schools can now add new Class 1 students through the SDMS portal. This is especially important for government and aided schools to ensure proper tracking of new enrollments.
To add follow the below steps:
- Login to SDMS
- Open the “Student Module”
- Use the “Add New” option to input new student records
- Fill in GP, EP, and SF sections, then submit
Report Module
The Report Module in UDISE Plus helps users view, generate, and download different types of education reports. It is mainly used by officials and administrators to analyze school data at every level—from school to state. With this module, users can check enrollment, infrastructure, teacher, and student details, create customized reports for planning, and download them in PDF or Excel formats.
UDISE Plus Report Module Login Process :-
- Go to UDISE+ Reports Module
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Enter the Captcha code shown on the screen.
- Click Login to open the Report Module dashboard.
- Use the dashboard to view, generate, and download reports as needed.
- Always log out after use for security.
School Directory and User Management Module
This module is for school records. It lets you add new schools or update old ones. Users can manage user accounts too. Block and district level users often use it.
Features include:
- Add or edit school details.
- Manage users at different levels.
- Track school status.
- Assign roles and permissions to users.
- Reset passwords or update user contact details.
School Directory Management Login Process :-
- Go to School Directory Management.
- Choose the School Directory and User Management Module option.
- Enter your Username and Password.
- Enter the Captcha code displayed on the screen.
- Click Login to open the module dashboard.
- Use the dashboard to manage school details and user accounts as per your role.
- Log out after finishing your work
How to Access the UDISE Plus SDMS Login Module
Visit the official SDMS portal: https://sdms.udiseplus.gov.in/#/login
Select your state from the dropdown menu and click “Go.”
Click “User Login” and enter your User ID and Password (provided by Block/District Education Officer).
Complete the CAPTCHA and click “Sign In.”
Navigate to the Student Module to update data in sections like General Profile (GP), Enrollment Profile (EP), or Student Facilities (SF).
Save and submit changes, then log out for security.
Notes
- Credentials: Schools use their 11-digit UDISE code as the username. Passwords are provided by Block MIS coordinators or District Education Officers.
- Support: For login issues, contact Block or District MIS officials. Use the “Forgot Password” option for resets via registered mobile or email.
- Data Updates: The Student Module supports adding new students (e.g., Class 1), updating profiles, and tracking facilities like mid-day meals or scholarships.
- Security: Always log out after use to protect sensitive student data.

How to Use Know Your School Portal
Using Know Your School is simple. Here are the steps.
- Go to the website: https://kys.udiseplus.gov.in/.
- You see search options on the home page.
- Pick how to search: by school name, UDISE code, or PIN code.
- Type in the details.
- Click search.
- A list of schools comes up.
- Click on a school to see more info.
- Click report card to browse broader data like nearby schools and infrastructure indicators.
Explore state lets you see data for a whole state. You can look at maps too. This shows where schools are. If you have the UDISE code, use it. It gives exact results. Ask your school for the code if needed.
